p1590 A medical lien does not have priority over an attorney's lien, and an attorney has no fiduciary obligation to make payments to the medical lien holder out of the client's recovery; however, the medical lien holder may state a cause of action for conversion if an attorney with no lien on the recovery refuses to pay the lien holder.
