4956 -REVIEW GRANTED- A manufacturer is liable when its product is necessarily used in conjunction with another product, and when danger results from the use of the two products together. Because the Navy knew exactly how their products would be used, and the products were specifically designed to work with asbestos containing materials, the manufacturers were not relieved of liability. Furthermore, although the original asbestos insulation and packaging had been replaced, the manufacturers were not relieved from liability.
