Case Summary

4442 An employment policy that ordinarily permits employees to use sick leave for visits to their doctors, but requires employees who sustained industrial injuries to use their accrued vacation time instead, results in illegal discrimination against industrially injured employees making the employer liable for enhanced workers' compensation remedies.
