5014 REVIEW DENIED. Plaintiffs, whose mother made an anatomical gift of her remains to defendant university for scientific research, sued the university for negligence after learning that remains of donors were being sold for profit by university employees instead of being disposed of as plaintiffs had been promised; however, the university owed no duty of care to plaintiffs where the donation contract with their mother made no specific promises regarding the use or disposition of her remains and was entered into before the enactment of a statute requiring donors' cremated remains to be returned to family members after use for research.
