5013 Because an insured breached an insurance contract by failing to cooperate fully with the insurer's investigation of a fire that burned down the insured's home, the trial court properly granted summary judgment to the insurer in a suit challenging denial of a claim. The insured could not cure the breach by submitting documentation after the denial of the claim, and it was no defense that the insured acted on the advice of counsel by refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
